My laptop died on me today X(
apparently the hard disk stopped responding.
so have to buy a new one :(
Brother who works at currys says I can try to claim on the sales of goods act about durability because I've had it for about a year and a half and it should work for a lot longer, but I've scanned the internet and 6 months comes up along so unsure if I can do this... if not thats a good £70 out of my already low savings :(
Any advice?

ah cool thanks! unfortunately it's not a case of repairing it as such, more like replacing the hard disk.... going to the shop where we got it to try and get a freebie though ^.^ thankyou for the comment!
